We have for sale a set of two high back chairs from the mid 19th century in France.

Made from solid pale oak with waxed finish and exceptionally comfortable firm sprung and softly padded seats with floral hand embroidered wool crewelwork on cotton fabric.
The fabric shows no wear.

In solid condition throughout, with no movement in any joints.

There has been some historic worm, which has added rustic charm yet has not compromised the structure at all in any way.
The frames are very heavy.
