Description 🔉

A fine example of a British Army Mk II Martini-Henry rifle, later issued for service with the Indian Police. The rifle retains its original chamber and military rifle fittings, though the barrel has since been converted to smoothbore. Enfield manufacturer markings are no longer visible; however, War Department (WD) inspection marks remain clearly present on the sling fittings.

Condition:
Excellent overall condition. The action is firm and fully functional, cocking correctly, holding at full cock, and dry-firing cleanly. A well-preserved and honest example.
