St. Peter, Staffordshire Style Prattware Statue

This item has been purchased.

Description 🔉

A 19th century. c.1820, Staffordshire style, pearl-ware glazed, Prattware factory, figure of St. Peter, with some damage, loss of some boccage and the Cockrell, with minimal paint loss, does not detract from the overall presentation of the piece. It is approximately 9" high. Please note, this is a genuine 19th century piece, exhibited in the colours, especially the colour of the clay, where exposed, and the presence of 'firing cracks', which are typical of Staffordshire pieces of the 19th century.
