A naval gunnade, known as the "Six Pounder," dating back to the early 19th century, features a 40-inch barrel length from the muzzle to the touch hole. The overall barrel length, from the muzzle to the button, measures 52.5 inches, with a bore diameter of 3.75 inches. This gunnade is mounted on a reproduction carriage.
Additionally, this gunnade comes with a set of detailed working drawings for the accompanying carriage. Furthermore, there is a brief history of its exhibition and firing. Notably, the Duke of Westminster fired this example during the opening of the Police National Clay Pigeon Championship on September 1st to 3rd, 1981. It also played a role in the official opening of the Hampton Hall Pistol Range on May 1st, 1983, by Mr. C. Halsall, Assistant Chief Constable of the Cheshire Constabulary.
