Description 🔉

A Prussian Grenadier regiment enlisted men or other ranks Pickelhaube, post 1897, with M1891 side posts and black leather chinstrap. It includes Prussian and Reich-cocarde state cockades. The brass helmet plate includes an oval shield on the eagles breast, bearing the monogram FWR (Friedrich Wilhelm Rex), as used by Grenadier Regiments 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12 or before 1913, regiments no. 3 (pre 1901), no. 2 and 7 (pre 1897), and NR 4 (pre 1889). It has a brass peak mount, spike with five ventilation holes, and an enlisted type black liner on the interior.
