A fantastic portrait of the Duke of Wellington formerly from the Earl of Shrewsbury's Estate. Possibly by the studio of Abraham Solomon as the panel supplier became Rowney, Dillon and Rowney in 1844 and were located 2 minutes walk from Abrahams studio in Percy Street, first setup in 1846.
Measurements 18 x 23 cm, frame 33.5 x 28.5 cm (excluding capital).
