A beautiful Continental Pieta,given the modelling of the figures, possibly German, carved from wood, c.1840, with Gilding and Polychrome decoration, in really lovely condition considering its; age. It measures 35 x 28 x 10 cms. There is a small amount of 'paint loss' but overall it is a very lovely statue.
