Description 🔉

This distinctive and striking enamelled brooch is made from a King George III coin, depicting the legendary, slightly risqué, representation of St. George fighting the Dragon, which symbolizes triumph. The reverse side of the coin displays the wreathed effigy of George III. The pin of the brooch is in good order and secure, with an option of attaching a safety chain or suspending it from a chain. Overall, a lovely piece, in good condition, with no damage to the enamelling.

We have many years of experience, having traded from our shop, various Antique Centres in Norfolk, selling both to local and international collectors and dealers. We offer also a 'finding service' and undertake research, at no extra cost. Personally, we collect little, although we are very fond of automata, having a small collection of such items.
