A pre-1830 M1811 Blücher sabre, modelled after the British 1796 light cavalry sabre, has a chunkier and more robust design. It remains in good condition and comes with its matching heavy scabbard. Manufactured by Schnitzler & Kirschbaum, this sabre is marked to the 8th Train Battalion, 2nd Provision Column (Proviant Kolonne, responsible for food and logistics) and is identified as weapon number 32, Depot 712.
