Large Vintage American Union Pacific 'Big Boy' Collectors Train Model Circa - Vintage Composition - Metal Brief Locomotive History Union Pacific Big Boy Locomotive With A Four Wheel Leading Truck, With Two Sets Of Eight Driving Wheels And Four Wheeled Trailing Truck. Only A Single Model Of Locomotive Has Ever Used this Configuration Which Is Commonly Known As 'Union Pacific Big Boys' After The railroad Which Operated Them. Twenty Five Such Engines Were Built Between 1941 & 1944, Numbered 4000 - 4024. Eight Of These Locomotives Survived , Severn Which Are On State Public Display At various Sites Across The USA. Union Pacific Announced Plans To Restore NO 4014 To Operation For Use In Mainland Excursion Service. No 4014 Underwent Restoration Between 2016-2019, And Completed Its First Post Restoration Test Ryun May 2, 2019. Listing Description Large Hand Built Union Pacific Steam Locomotive Model Without Tender. Cylindrical Nose With Pilot Shield Fender At The Front With Detailed Chimneys, Pipework And Rivets.
