Description 🔉

19th Century rare cup.

Details from previous owner is that the object is possibly of asian / chinese origin and dates back to the 19th century.

The previous seller obtained the item from a small antiques fair in Kent where the object was brought in from a house clearance in Deal.

I purchased from an online auction several years ago and now ready to part with it due to downsizing my collection

The materials of the object have not been tested but from an antique enthusiasts opinion the bowl is from the horn of a water buffalo and the stem from the horn of another animal - Would welcome any expert knowledge!

There is slight damage that can be clearly seen from the photographs (refer to one with the tape measure) but item is still in great condition and would be perfect for people interested in researching items and understanding there origins and uses.

Happy to answer any questions or supply further photographs from any angles as restricted to six on this website

Happy bidding!
