Description

A small Mustard Pot with a porcelain lining and glass exterior, with dried mustard powder between the two and sealed in by a Nickel Silver band around the top. The pot was made in Stourbridge in or around 1925, and is designed to allow the receptacle to be used to both mix mustard inside and serve it at the table. The exterior bears The Royal Warrant, granted in 166 by Her Royal Majesty Queen Victoria, hence it was referred to as 'the Queen's Mustard'.
