This set of Danish silver and enamel brooch and earrings suite by Volmer Bahner was crafted in early 20th century. The brooch is designed as a green enamel stylised leaf with a matching pair of cliff earrings. Brooch measures 50 cm wide, earrings each measures approximately 24 mm. total weight approx 19 g. The intricate enamel work on both the brooch and the earrings is in excellent condition and will make a beautiful addition to any jewelry collection.


Note Volmer Bahner (1912-1995) was a versatile Danish artist and designer known for sculptural works, bronze, and ceramic creations. He gained fame for his modernist enameled silver jewelry, inspired by Denmark's natural beauty. His designs, including floral pieces like the calla lily, were innovative. He also crafted hearts and animal motifs, often for young girls. His mark is "VB STERLING DENMARK," and some works are linked to the Christgau company. Notable is a delicate 6-1/4 inch bracelet with snowy white enamel Guilloche on Sterling, featuring intricate fish motifs (10mm x 12mm each).
