Description 🔉

A cracking 1937 dated 8th Army Corps Royal Engineers Sergeants tunic. The [second iteration] charging knight divisional sign incorporating the traditional Corps colours was first adopted in February 1943 when Corps HQ moved to Scotch Corner and took command of 9th and 42 Armoured Divisions. In 1944, 8th Army Corps deployed to Europe in Operation Overlord and served throughout the conflict and then on before being disbanded in 1946. This Service Dress tunic is believed to have been worn in the UK at Depot between February 1943 and the Corps' deployment to Normandy. No name.

Some wear on the tunics back and cuff. Overall in good condition. Small size.
